A Swiss clinical trial evaluated the effects of Boswellia serrata resin extract (BSB108) on 29 dogs suffering from chronic joint and spinal conditions. The supplement was administered orally at a dose of 400 mg per 10 kg of body weight daily over a six-week period. By the end of the trial, 71% of the dogs showed significant improvement in symptoms such as lameness, stiffness, and localized pain. No adverse effects were reported. The study concluded that Boswellia serrata is a safe, well-tolerated, and effective natural supplement for managing osteoarthritic conditions in dogs. Results support its integration into joint health protocols.
